I launch things, then teach them to run without me.

This is the hub. It belongs to Nick Jones, aka Nick Danger Jones: Founder & Operating Partner of Eat Sleep Launch Repeat, home in Flagstaff, Arizona, usually on a bike, sometimes in the coat. Every card below is a real door, and the last spot in the lineup is open on purpose. If you are hauling a strange idea, there is room in the pack.

02 · Car-Free First Fridays

The street is ours, one Friday a month

On every First Friday from May through October 2026, the block of Aspen Street alongside Heritage Square in downtown Flagstaff closed to cars and opened to people: street performers, pop-up art, live music, and room to stand in the road and talk to a neighbor. I show up on a bike, in the coat.

  • The blockAspen Street along Heritage Square. The one-night pilot on May 2, 2025 closed Aspen between Leroux and San Francisco; the 2026 season made it every First Friday, all six dates confirmed.
  • Who is behind itChampioned and personally underwritten by my friend Dapper Dre, Flagstaff performer, bike-safety advocate and founder of the FLG Bike Party, alongside Creative Flagstaff's First Friday ArtWalk. The launch nights were presented by ARTx. It is a community effort, not a City of Flagstaff program.
  • Roll in on two wheelsThe Center 2 Center community ride, new for 2026: gather at 4 PM at the Coconino Center for the Arts, roll downtown together at party pace, land at Heritage Square for the 5 PM start. Free, all ages, ride at your own risk. Helmets, lights, layers, a friend.
  • 2027 is not promisedWhether the street opens again is up to the City of Flagstaff and downtown's business owners. If you want it back, tell the City Council, tell the shops you visited because the street was open, and show up. A full street is the whole argument.

03 · The route

The route, in four stops

The short version. The long version has better stories and its own page.

  1. 01

    The Senate

Early on: research for the Arizona State Senate. I learned how the machine actually moves, and how slowly, which turned out to be useful forever.

  2. 02

    The five page email

I wanted Uber in Northern Arizona, so I wrote five pages to support@uber.com. It found the right desk, and I ended up launching the Northern and Western Arizona markets.

  3. 03

    The launch years

About eighteen months on Lime's US launch team, then climate tech market expansion at Sealed. Different rigs, same job: get the thing rolling, hand over the keys.

  4. 04

    Home, 7,000 feet up

Back to Flagstaff to found Eat Sleep Launch Repeat and start building the lineup above. The rule ever since: every company has to run without me.

04 · Roll with me

Room in the pack

The point of the whole site, in one place. If any of these sound like you, wave me over:

  • A small business or startup that wants an operating partner riding next to you, hands on the actual machinery. That is Eat Sleep Launch Repeat's whole job.
  • A new venture that needs launch muscle through the first rough miles.
  • A weird idea you cannot put down. Weird ideas ride up front here.
  • A community project in Flagstaff, or anywhere the high desert touches.

One honest note beats a perfect deck. A person reads it.

05 · The clippings

For the record

For press, podcast hosts, and anyone doing their homework.

06 · Say hello

The inbox is human

Write like a person and it lands with a person, usually somewhere around 7,000 feet.

A person reads it, and the same person replies.
